Academic Year Options

There are 4 default academic year options in the CORE system.

  • Non-Term Clock
  • Quarter Credit
  • Semester Credit
  • Non-Term Credit


Each option can be configured for an institution, this is where the school's Add/Drop Days, Class Start and Class End week days would be configured.


Add/Drop Days – The number of days a student is allowed before dropping a course or program without penalty.
Class Start Week Day – The Day of the week class typically starts
Class End Week Day – The Day of the week class typically ends
All defined break days should be added to the academic year option.
