Steps to Update and Existing Student Record

Access the File Uploads via any of the 3 methods listed.  On the Dashboard go to the File Upload Red Bucket and click on the  to load the file import area, File Uploads via the Workflow or File Imports by clicking into or when in the Red Bucket.

Under Step 1 check Processing File, then for Step 2 check Packaging and Disbursement Data File (if you need to Excel Template to add the student files click view template below)

 

At the bottom of Step 3 you will see the option for Manual Mode, click continue

 

A new import batch will be created with the option to Add Entry.  When you click on Add Entry you will be able to search for an existing student or enter a new student to CORE.

You will be able to make any changes to all fields that currently exist in the Import Template.  

For changes being made to existing students, once you have located the student, ensure that you choose their existing packaging (drop-down selection) in order to make changes to their enrollment information. See below. The Manual Mode is especially effective for institutions that have multiple enrollments.

Updating an Existing Enrollment

 

 

Once you save your changes you must submit the file for processing. You can update multiple records before submitting, make sure the record shows no errors. This section should say No or the record will not date.

Re-Enrollment

When completing a re-enrollment, do not choose a student package. This area should remain blank. Complete the academic information below for the new enrollment and Save.

Take the next steps to correct the errors in the file

Once the corrections have been updated, Validate, the error field should say No

“Process” the file once the all the Errors have been Validated and reflect “No”
